The Honey Dewdrops - June 22, 2018

The Honey Dewdrops return to Three Springs Barn for this special summertime show on a Friday night. Some music fits the wood-paneled environs of the barn just right and the tight harmonies of Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish, coupled with incredible flat-picking guitar, banjo, mandolin, and harmonica fit the bill. Witness the songs 'Hold Love' and 'Nobody in this World' to see some of these features on display. Of the Honey Dewdrops, Sing Out! magazine says, "Gorgeous harmonies, thrilling arrangements, and some remarkably insightful, honest writing." Originally from Virginia, but now making Baltimore their home when not on the road, the Honey Dewdrops are working on a new album due out in fall 2018, so expect to hear some new tunes along with some old favorites.

Please RSVP to reserve your seats for this show. We’re asking $15 and, as always, bring cash to pay at the door. BYOB for the communal washtubs and a snack to share if you’d like. Doors will open at 7:30 with music to begin at 8:00. We'll be just a day into the official summer season with this show, so this may be the only show of the year that there's still light in the sky at the set break. (Gentlemen, plan accordingly because ladies still take precedence at the privy.) We look forward to seeing you in June!
