Barbara Jean & Erik Koskinen - April 12, 2014

Barbara Jean was part of a fantastic evening of music at the Three Springs Barn last summer and not only was the music great, so was the company. We’re delighted to have her back. Barbara Jean’s debut album, The Great Escape, features great songwriting, vocals that evoke the love and loss she sings of, and perfect accompaniment with her banjo, fiddle, and viola playing. Erik Koskinen will also be appearing at the Three Springs Barn this evening and we’re very pleased about that. Erik recently released a new album, America Theatre, which is receiving advance praise. As Koskinen himself states on his website, the album is “musically sprouted from the blend of American folk, country, rock-n-roll, and blues [producing] a sound that is distinctive and fresh while familiar and classic.” Check out this video for Erik’s song, Glow Sky Glow, to get a sense of his music and writing, and visit his website to learn more about him.
