Count This Penny - September 28, 2013

My friend Jennifer first told me about Count This Penny. She knows the band. So, in this era of the internet, I naturally did what any curious person would do: I found their website and checked them out. And you should too. Specifically, listen to these two songs and just bask in the harmonies. If that’s not enough and you’d still like to know more about this band, here’s what I’ve learned about Count This Penny since Jennifer introduced me to them: 1) I really like their stuff. 2) Lots of other people really like their stuff. 3) It seems they’ve quickly become local favorites. (They’re currently based out of Madison.) 4) They put on a relaxed live show that makes you feel like you’ve come home. 5) If it’s possible to ascertain anything “real” from YouTube, these seem like truly good folks...it’s apparent they like dogs, so right there. Needless to say, we’re tickled that Count This Penny is playing at Three Springs Barn. We’d like to help them add to their devoted following in southwest Wisconsin, so we hope you’ll join us for the show. I’ll say with confidence that you won’t be disappointed.
